Over Labor Day weekend, we biked into Garmisch for a fresh pastry breakfast and some coffee. We don't consume much sugar around our house (especially of the refined kind...yes, I am that mother), so I had to photograph the gleeful expressions pictured below. You know that feeling you get when you realize you are only two days into a weeklong vacation? Or when you open the first Christmas present and know that there are still many left under the tree?
