Don't Mention It

Last week we started potty training Cal and after two unsuccessful days, he figured it out and diapers are now history. Apparently, his biggest motivator was verbal praise. Yesterday, Cal hunted me down in the bathroom (can't a girl get a minute?) just in time to offer me a round of applause and some serious encouragement: "Yea, Mommy! You did it! I'm so proud of you!" Of all the things I do for that kid...that's what he praises me for?
